1928 Kamaka Special Pineapple Ukulele

Kamaka Special Pineapple Ukulele.
This Kamaka ukulele was patented January 3, 1928, according to the inside sticker which also has 1891 handwritten on the bottom. In amazing condition for its age, which is almost 100 years old! There were some front cracks that were lovingly restored at McCabe’s Guitar Shop in Los Angeles and are pictured above. The front pineapple decal is intact. Has a beautiful auburn patina that can only be achieved through age. The varnish is slightly worn away from age but has not been refinished or touched at all. A true beauty!
