3 Adv Circulars, Gold Medal Baking Soda & Saleratus (J. Monroe Taylor) c1880s

Description

Lot includes a four page circular/price list of products made by J. Monroe Taylor Chemical Works of New York, including Gold Medal Soda and Saleratus (two of the four pages are shown), and two single page, printed on one side only circulars. All have the Gold Medal trade mark at top.. The yellow colored Circular is a "Special Notice" describing promotions and incentives for dealers buying quantities of the soda. The last circular show warns merchants about competing "second grade" baking sodas. Condition: all have mailing folds, the four page circular is separated along its outer fold, a small separation oat left end of lower fold, and has minor creases along its top edge, and the last shown circular has small separations at the ends of its center, horizontal fold, and a small margin crease at center, right. Otherwise all very good. 6" X 9 1/4"; 6" X 10" and 7 3/4" X 11" in the order shown.
