Hey, all you automobile enthusiasts and car-related business owners!
FOR SALE:
over 2100 vintage automobile ads, along with some vintage gas, tire, oil, airplane, soda, beer, smokes, appliance ads (and more). Of the 2100 total, over 90% are vintage car and truck ads!
These beautiful and artistic ads are all in order, first by the manufacturer and then by model year.
All of these ads, and really most of these are considered pieces of period art, were precision-cut and carefully removed from magazines ranging from the
1920s through 1972
. A large portion is from the ‘50s and ‘60s (our personal favorites for automobile design) and they are primarily from
Life, Look, Saturday Evening Post, and Holiday magazines
with a few other publications in the mix.
We have only ever purchased clean, original magazines in great condition. Each
10.5" x14.0"
ad was then carefully removed and, if needed, very lightly trimmed with a paper guillotine to clean up any lightly frayed edges. The ads were then immediately placed into sealable clear sleeves with a clean white poster board backing for stability, each measuring 11” x 14”. These ads are ready to be framed or displayed as-is! There are also many two-page, centerfold ads in larger sleeves/poster board. These centerfolds are great to display in your home and office, or they can really have an impact on potential customers coming into your business!

All ads have been stored in a clean, dry, smoke-free, pet-free, temperature-controlled environment and are in
immaculate to near-immaculate condition,
especially for the age of these ads.
