Fantastic, 1956 vintage advertisement for Ernie McAfee's Italian car dealership in Los Angeles, at the time, the largest Italian car dealer in the U.S., importing Ferraris, OSCAs, Sciatas and Alfa Romeos. Ad features the Ferrari 250 GT Coupe by Boano.
Ernie McAfee was an early hot rodder who was a member of the 90 MPH club and the SCTA Road Runners club of Southern California—and a tremendously talented sports car race driver who was killed in a wreck at the Pebble Beach Road Races in 1956.
Ad is clean and bright with some light wrinkles, carefully trimmed and measuring approximately 8 1/8" x 11" (18 cm x 28 cm) on a matte-finished hefty magazine stock. See photos for condition.
