WATERMAN GENTLEMAN STERLING SILVER FLUTED FOUNTAIN PEN 18K BROAD NIB RESTORED

Description

For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Gorgeous Fine Sterling Silver Waterman Gentleman Fountain Pen in the Fluted pattern in the original box with papers/documentation, This fountain pen has been cleaned internally, put back together, and now is in wonderful writing condition.
This fountain pen cap and barrel are in magnificent condition with no dings, dents, or repairs with the cap always securing tightly to the barrel. The cap has the gorgeous 23K Gold Electroplated Gold Filled Clip and Cap Banding which, displays absolutely no wear. The cap banding is stamped with, "WATERMAN MADE IN FRANCE with a French Hallmark". I have cleaned, buffed and polished the barrel and cap. I also cleaned the internal components of this pen. There are no monograms or personalizations to either the barrel or cap. This Waterman Gentleman Fountain Pen measures 5 9/16" in length capped and 6 5/16" posted.
This pen is hallmarked on the cap, section, and barrel with French Sterling Hallmarks.
The Waterman comes with a working "Waterman" Branded ink converter. I have tested the ink converter filling mechanism with ink and fills as it should.
The Waterman NIB is an 18K/750 Ideal NIB. The NIB has a Broad point measuring roughly .97mm when measured with digital calipers. When creating a writing sample, the NIB writes with a medium to double broad stroke/line. The writing sample provided in the image has the medium stroke measuring at .71mm and the double broad stroke measures roughly 1.35mm under medium to firm pressure when measured with digital calipers. This NIB writes extremely smooth and such a pleasure to write with. The writing sample was done with the actual pen in the images that are listed for sale. The writing sample was used by dipping the NIB in Parker Quink Blue Ink.
This is a beautiful Waterman Gentleman Fountain Pen in the Fluted Pattern with such a smooth writing nib - it is extremely and smooth to write with. It comes with all the cards, documentation, and original box which is a great treat. It is in impeccable condition and I would grade this fine writing instrument in Excellent to Near Mint Condition. It is ready to write or just add to your writing arsenal collection.

Refunds

Item must be returned within 14 days of receiving it. The item cost will be refunded. (Buyer pays all shipping and insurance). Item must be returned with Delivery Confirmation. Item must be returned to qualify for a refund. I do not give refunds for uninsured items if they get broke in shipping. ( I do pack carefully, I do not want them to arrive broken.) Some of my listings include insurance on shipping. Please make sure they do, if not please request it, if you would like it added.
